Kindergarten Tours for the 2015-2016 School Year are Coming!
¡Ya Vienen Las Orientaciones de Kindergarten para 2015-2016!
 
Join us to learn about our Spanish Immersion and English programs for Kindergarteners.  The tours are provided in English and in Spanish in the Library.  Please call the school office to reserve a space on a Wednesday below.
 
Venga e informese sobre los programas que ofrecemos en Kindergarten, Inmersión en  Español e Inglés. Tendremos orientaciones en la biblioteca de la escuela en Español y en Inglés. Por favor llame a la oficina para reservar un espacio cualquiera de los miércoles indicados a continuación.

We are offering one evening tour on Tuesday, November 18 at 5:00pm in rooms 105/106.  The presentation will be in English and Spanish.  However, we recommend attending a day tour to see our programs in action.
 
Estamos ofreciendo una orientación en la noche el martes 18 de noviembre a las 5:00 pm. en los salones 105/106. La Orientación será en Ingles y en Español. Sin embargo, le recomendamos que asista a una orientación durante el dia, para poder visitar los salones de clase.

  • KIPP and Rocketship Charter Petitions Approved by the Board

    On June 25, 2014, the School Board conditionally approved petitions from two charter schools, KIPP and Rocketship. KIPP and Rocketship will operate independently of the Redwood City School District, but the school district will have legal oversight of the two schools. The schools will open in the fall of 2015 if the details describing the working relationship between the charters and the District can be worked out in Memorandums of Understanding.   • Redwood City School District And Redwood City Teachers Association Reach Tentative Contract Agreement: Total compensation increases by 3.5%

    On June 2, 2014, the Redwood City School District reached a tentative agreement with the Redwood City Teachers Association (RCTA), resolving negotiations for the 2013-2014 school year. Under the terms of the agreement, teachers will receive a total increase of 3.5%, of which 2% will be retroactive to July 1, 2013 and the remaining 1.5% will be effective today, June 2, 2014.
