Julie Propp has been a teacher for twelve years; eleven of those years have been at John Gill. She grew up in Washington D.C. and Kansas City. Julie spent summers with her Grandmas in Hays and Russell, Kansas.

She went to UC Berkeley and majored in History. In her spare time Julie enjoys writing, travel, photography, digital story telling, ecology, hiking and exploring California. Julie has a four-year-old daughter Elle and two pets, Lucy the dog and Mike the cat.
