¡Bienvenidos a la escuela Adelante! Somos una escuela de elección, de Kinder a 6° grado especializada en inmersión en español. Reunimos a estudiantes y familias hispano y anglo hablantes para que tengan la oportunidad de un futuro prometedor al ser bilingües, biculturales y académicamente enriquecidos.
El programa de nuestra escuela se basa en años de investigación que muestra que los estudiantes de diversos antecedentes lingüísticos y culturales pueden ser reunidos en un ambiente educativo de apoyo mutuo.

En Adelante somos una familia cálida, de una cultura centrada en solidaridad y apoyo mutuo. Nuestro hermoso campo está bordeado por dos lados de árboles y arroyos en un escenario de bosque.

Welcome to Adelante School! We are a K – 6th grade, two-way Spanish immersion School of Choice. We bring together both Spanish and English speaking students and families for the opportunity of a promising future of being bilingual, bicultural, and academically enriched.
Our school’s program is founded upon years of research that shows that students from different linguistic and cultural backgrounds can be brought together in a mutually supportive educational environment.

At Adelante we have a warm, family centered culture of nurturing and mutual support. Our beautiful campus is surrounded on two sides by trees and streams in a wooded setting.

We encourage you to visit us and marvel at the capacities of our students to think, discuss, explain, analyze, and problem solve in two languages!

School Board Approved Calendar for 2013-14

At the June 12, 2013 school board meeting, the board ratified the calendar proposed by the Redwood City Teachers Association and the California School Employees Association for the 2013-14 school year. RCSD Volunteer, Former Students Recognized at Sequoia Awards

14 of 25 high school seniors presented with college scholarships for outstanding volunteerism in Redwood City at the Sequoia Awards on March 7, 2013, are past students of Adelante, Fair Oaks, Henry Ford, Hoover, Garfield, Kennedy, MIT, North Star, Roy Cloud, Selby Lane and Taft.
