Henry Ford's Library
We completed our library building in June of 2000. We have approximately 13,000 books available for students to check-out in our automated library. In addition, we have computers hooked up to the Internet for students to research our library as well as the Internet for other resources.
Students in kindergarten through fifth grade come to the library and lab every week. Kindergarten through third grade come to the library for a half hour and roughly spend an additional 20 minutes in the lab. Fourth and fifth graders come to the library for forty minutes and roughly an additional 30 minutes in the lab. Students are read to by our librarian, Mrs. Egan, taught library skills, participate in the Accelerated Reader Program and are able to check-out books for home use.
