Differentiated Instruction: This unique program offers a change from the traditional pace of the curriculum, eliminating repetition. Differentiated Instruction relieves students of boredom that may result from work in less challenging curricular areas or from review of basic skills. Differentiated Instruction also allows the students to use the time that they have saved to go deeper into curricular areas and to pursue enriching activities. Enrichment Program.: In addition to Differentiated Instruction all students participate in extensive enrichment activities throughout the year. Enrichment activities include: Shakespeare, puppetry, multimedia presentation, chess, study of art masters, Origami, word games, model making, stock market studies, comic book making, science fiction studies, quilt making, independent study, and a host of other classes. All enrichment classes require the production of a student project or an exhibit that is shared with an audience through regular school wide assemblies.
