Website & Technology Committee
Description
The website & technology committee's goals are to facilitate (electronic) communication within the Orion community, showcase our school to the outside world and promote the use of technology in the classroom in cooperation with the Orion teaching staff. We drive technology topics and are a liaison to the Redwood City School District technology staff.
Responsibilities
- Management of main orionschool Yahoo group
- Cross-posting of Star Bulletin
- Maintain school calendar(s) with up-to-date event information
- Train volunteers in maintaining website content
- Support teaching staff (in-classroom use or staff training)
- Support other committees in technology topics (e.g. virtual emails, specific events)

- You can't find a classroom picture of your child's class? Become the webmaster for your child's classroom!
- You're a Mac/iOS savvy person? We need you to help the teaching staff and our children get the most out of the technology resources we have!
- You're organizing an Orion event? We'd love to help make your event known!
