Selby Lane students  Mission Statement

 Selby Lane School strives to empower and challenge all students to achieve educational excellence through providing experiences that promote the mastery of the California Academic Standards in all subject areas as well as those that enrich a student’s life through art, music and physical education.
 

 We believe that all children can learn and therefore aim to structure the program and instruction throughout the school to meet the individual needs of students to provide support, challenge and enrichment to each child.

 We value the diversity represented by the racial, cultural, linguistic and socio-economic backgrounds of our students and staff. We embrace this diversity as a valuable opportunity for children to learn from and with students of differing backgrounds. Selby Lane School is passionate about working in collaboration with families and the community to foster an environment that prioritizes children’s learning.

 Selby Lane se esfuerza para potenciar y retar a todos los estudiantes para lograr la excelencia educativa a través de proporcionar experiencias que promuevan la maestría de los estándares académicos de California en todas las áreas del tema así como aquellos que enriquecen la vida de un estudiante a través del arte, la música y la educación física.
 Creemos que todos los niños pueden aprender y, por tanto, nuestro enfoque está en la estructura y la instrucción en la escuela para satisfacer las necesidades individuales de los estudiantes a prestar apoyo, desafío y enriquecimiento a cada niño.
