Have a child who's a John Gill student? Here's some useful information.
Drop-off and Pick-up
Students can be dropped off after 8:10 a.m. School begins at 8:20 a.m. Dismissal times are as follows:
Kindergartners are dismissed at 11:40 a.m. every day.
Grades 1-5 are generally dismissed at 2:40 p.m., except on Thursdays and other minimum days, when dismissal is 1:30 p.m.
John Gill has very specific
traffic procedures for student pickup, drop off and office visits. The procedures are designed for student and pedestrian safety above all other considerations.
Lost and Found
Items found around campus are kept in the main office building, in a cabinet you're welcome to look through on your own. Any items that aren't claimed within four weeks may be donated to charity.
Cafeteria Information
Pre-paying for your child’s meals is easy with
EZSchoolPay.com
. You can use EZSchoolPay to make pre-payments to your child’s school meal account any time using your VISA or MasterCard (credit or debit), and to monitor your child's meal balance.
There is a 6% service charge to pay online, but no charge to view your child’s meal balance.You will need to know your child’s student number. If you do not know your child’s student number please ask your school office or the person working in the cafeteria.
When you visit EZSchoolPay, simply click under the “Parents Sign Up Now.” After you complete a simple web form, you’ll receive a confirmation e-mail. Follow the directions in the e-mail and you will be logged in and ready to manage your child’s account.
